Plumb Full of History is a recently published children's novel about the history of Abingdon, Virginia, where she grew up.  Her life is a whirl of booksignings, taking care of her son Owen, and grabing moments with her husband.

     She is currently researching a book of ghost stories set in the same area.  She's been a member of High Country Writers since April 13, 2000.

     Donna helps Abingdon, Virginia's historical society often and teaches at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
